At WBI part of our mission is to stimulate a vibrant industrial base and promote economic development.
We accomplish this by partnering with AFRL as well as regional, state, and national economic development organizations.
Collaborations with community and state organizations typically include:
- Identifying opportunities to grow and start businesses through technology transfer from AFRL, other federal laboratories and the Small Business Innovative Research program
- Solving public sector needs by identifying enabling technology and talent in AFRL, other federal laboratories and the Small Business Innovative Research program
- Establishing R&D centers of excellence and strengthening regional technology clusters
- Strategy development with our world-class innovation team in the IDEA Lab
