Tec^Edge ICC Hosts SATE Kick-Off Event

Tec^Edge ICC hosted the kick-off event for the summer at the Edge scholar intern program. The program is a collaborative effort supported by Wright Brothers Institute, the Air Force Research Laboratory and Wright State University (WSU) among others. For 10 weeks, over 80 students will reside at Tec^Edge ICC, Tec^Edge Works and WSU’s Wright^Edge laboratory. They will be immersed in a collaborative environment to conduct research in emerging areas of interest to national defense experts.

SATE 2011 students will be working on over 10 unique projects in areas including Robotics, Smartphone Programming and Micro Air Vehicles. All SATE 2011 projects are part of a larger initiative focusing on collaboration and experimentation through the Virtual World (IE SecondLife, OpenSim).
